What happens after I purchase my HMO plan?

Individual/Family Plans

  • 2-week waiting period: After purchasing, there's a brief waiting period for payment confirmation and processing. Access to care begins post this period.
  • Registration completion: You'll receive an email with your health plan details, Bastion Health mobile app instructions, and your electronic enrolee ID card.


Seniors’ Plans

  • Immediate access: Seniors enjoy immediate access to care, though some benefits may have additional waiting periods.
  • Welcome email: Includes your plan details, mobile app instructions, and electronic ID card.


Corporate & SME Plans

  • Immediate care for employees: Once premiums are paid, employees can access care immediately, with SME Plans possibly having additional waiting periods for certain benefits.
  • Employer and employee onboarding: Employers get details about managing the organization’s health plan via the Bastion Health HR Portal. Employees receive an email with plan information and mobile app instructions.


Please note the following:

  • Electronic ID Cards Only: We issue electronic ID cards for convenience and instant coverage. No hard copy ID cards are provided.
  • Mobile App & HR Portal: Use the Bastion Health mobile app for easy access to healthcare services. Employers can manage their plans through the HR Portal (more details on this in the Using the HR Portal section).
